Ready to head back to the top of Piani di Artavaggio?
The second edition of Crystal Mountain is just around the corner! Just like last year, we’re heading back to Valsassina, nestled between the provinces of Lecco and Bergamo. It’s an unspoilt gem just a stone’s throw from Milan—where we’ll spend two unforgettable days (just ask anyone who joined the first edition!).

**FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND SUPPORTERS ARE WELCOME. RIFUGIO NICOLA IS EASILY REACHABLE BY CABLE CAR FROM MOGGIO TO PIANI DI ARTAVAGGIO. AFTER A SHORT 30-MINUTE WALK, YOU'LL ARRIVE AT THE REFUGE. IF YOU'RE JOINING AS A SUPPORTER AND NOT RIDING, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM AND MAKE SURE TO INDICATE THAT YOU WON'T BE PARTECIPATING IN THE RIDE**
The event takes place over a two-day circular route.
We'll spend the night camping at 1,800 meters altitude, with Rifugio Nicola—just above Piani di Artavaggio—providing basic services and support.
You’ll receive the route via email during the week of the event.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Each participant must have:
- A suitable bike (MTB or gravel)
- Tent and sleeping bag (we recommend coordinating with friends to share the load)
- Appropriate clothing for cooler mountain temperatures in the evening
WHAT TO EXPECT
Climbs. Lots of climbs.
The routes on both days will be short in terms of distance, but with a significant amount of climbing. It’s not a race—it’s a personal challenge. Whether you ride with a group or take it on solo, the key word is: enjoy the journey.
At the end of the first day, once we reach Rifugio Nicola, you’ll have plenty of time to rest, recharge, and take in the sunset overlooking Mount Resegone. You’ll set up your tent on a stunning meadow right next to the refuge.
The evening will be accompanied by DJ sets curated by:
- Mino Luchena
- Side Quest
- Offensive Username
- Dj Komodo
The Next Morning you’ll have two options:
- Continue with the second route toward Piani dei Resinelli
- Or—if the party went a little too hard—head straight back down to Ballabio via the direct descent (all downhill, hehe)
